Ducati 996/748R Superbikes & Derivatives, Race Team Take-Off Fuel Tank

This is a pre-1999 fuel tank when the Ducati Factory lined the inside of the tank for better protection. According to the team owner, when the Ducati came back from Fast by Ferracci, all of the street bodywork and equipment was removed and this tank has been on their shelf since the late 1990's.

There is writing on the inside of the tank with a date of 23 June 98. There are no dents, scratches or wear on the outer surface of the tank. I have read that Red makes you go faster.
