Harris Magnum Endurance Racing Fuel Tank

This is the actual fuel tank from the pre-production Kawasaki magnum built by the Harris brothers and raced under the Team Coulson Racing endurance efforts in the mid to late seventies by Mike Trimby and Marty Lunde. The bike was restored by Glyn Robinson, and the restored bike was featured in September 2011 Classic Bike Magazine. The tank is as original, untested, although the paint may be of later date.

The tank is over forty years old and with associated age marks and nicks to surfaces, although showing no damage or repair. As is the aluminium tank comes with the side mounted spring loaded quick filler and the associated spring loaded air dump valve on the head of the tank, a normal filler cap with period genuine Shaw aerospace flush fitting fuel filler, and a drilled hole for large capacity screw in breather assembly.
