Vintage THE VINCENT VINYL Motorcycle Gas Fuel Tank Cover. Cover resembles the tank on the Vincent Black Shadow right down to placement of the decal (from looking at online pictures). In excellent condition - needs a general cleaning. The Vincent decals on either side of cover. Inside padding degrading, but should be easily replaced at upholstery or leather shop - see pictures.

Cotton material straps intact and will need replaced if cover is used. Outer edges on all VINYL has a folded stitched piping. All panel seam stitching is intact, tight, and shows no gaps or breakage. Likely 50's - 60's.

Measurements (generally- close measurements - not exact). Front of cap opening to very rear over yoke opening 17-1/2. Across top from edge seams and front strap on cap opening 11. Height at front (standing on floor) 8.

Front fork opening 8" High 4" wide. Wrapping tape around bottom edge from bottom fork opening to rear yoke opening 23. Gas cap opening OVAL 5-1/2' X 3-1/2.

Rear of gas cap opening to rear top of cover 12-1/2. Rear yoke opening is stepped Top edge from floor is 6" Top inside is 4" wide At about 4" off bottom it opens to 6". Measurements take by arranging cover vertically ans as naturally as possible - self supported. Likely to fit other British motorcycles of the period Triumph, BSA, Norton, Royal Enfield, Matchless, Ariel, and others. They didn't make a ton of these in the day, and they are rarer now.
